My Verizon FiOS® experience:
We’ve personally had FiOS® for about 3 years now and are thrilled with the service. We’ve experienced downtime only once from a storm. The speed is good or better than advertised. We have a continuous 20MB down and 5 up connection. We also have an HTPC which works great! We still have Comcast TV, but we are thinking of switching to FiOS® TV, as well.
